Pros

With the addition of Bert Castro as the Zoo Director, the Phoenix Zoo has been moving forward in its desire to become a "World Class Zoo for a World Class City". As a result of the Capital Funding Plan, the zoo has developed three outstanding exhibits in three years. If you haven't been to the Phoenix Zoo in years, come it again. It is a new experience!

Cons

The Phoenix Zoo has taken on a lot in the last three years. Turnover seems to be a little high from the 0-2 year mark. But there are plenty of employees that have been there for over 10 years.

Pros

Wonderful organization with admirable goals. The people who work there are fun and caring. Where else can you wander around and look at animals on your break?

Cons

Very low pay; seasonal employment generally the only type available; little to no room for advancement or promotion.
