Working at Pima County's IT Dept was considerably more stressful than most other places I've encountered.

Centrally located in the county, convenience of downtown more generally.

Cons

The professional environment was driven primarily by threats and fear, hailing from the CIO but rippling through the entire organization. Day-to-day is not based in mission-focused cooperation or even competition of ideas, but in placing blame.
