      Pros

      Small company you get experience in all facets of aircraft manufacture.

      Cons

      Management, manufacturing side is less than desirable. Human resource management is shameful. Poor pay. Expect long hours without compensation. No recognition. Minimal support. Overall very poor operation (cannot afford proper equipment) a frayed shoestring of an operation.

      Growing and Improving

      Pros

      There are pockets of excellence within Piper. If you can push yourself, the support can be found for you to grow and get promoted -- keep in mind you may have to move around to do so, and that's ok. Piper is striving to improve and there is a lot of opportunity with a lot of good things coming down the pipe for the future. Family-like atmosphere from all levels.

      Cons

      Some departments have stagnation and operate as silos. It's easy to get bogged down and discouraged with the culture. The culture is slowly changing for the better, but it is a slow process. Lots of folks let the negativity and woe-is-me attitudes get to them without looking in the mirror for improvements first. They're usually the first to jump ship or take themselves out, all for the better.
