Pros

product itself is quite good

Cons

whilst they claim a collaborative culture it is truly every man for themselves and if you do not know how to "bend" the rules slightly you cannot succeed. New hires coming directly into a closing position without speaking multiple languages are set up for failure tenured reps are expected to hit lofty goals and it has in turn led to a substantial drop off in the quality of clients onboarded

Pros

-Good salary -Good benefits -Free food -stock options -£75 gym subsidy

Cons

Sadly all of the above is negated by the fact PitchBook wants all non-senior members of staff to return to office full time 5 days a week, leaving no flexibility for work-life balance. - Only 20 days annual leave a year. If I get a reply, they will say that we have 10 days work from anywhere, which is insulting when comparing PB to other companies in the industry and the UK.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We appreciate and value hearing from our employees. Glad to hear you were able to take advantage of many of our perks and benefits. Through employee feedback, we have increased the annual leave to 25 days in the UK and created various flexibility options for our employees to take advantage of. All the best in your next adventure.

Inconsistent management and declining team morale

Business Outlook

Pros

Smart and capable colleagues Good exposure and learning opportunities

Cons

- Processes change frequently, which creates confusion and affects team morale - Lack of support from team leads feels like some managers prioritise managing upwards over supporting their own team - Senior leadership could improve on people management, feedback can feel dismissive - Management tends to operate in a fire-fighting mode, with changes made after issues arise rather than being planned ahead - Expectations vary across offices, making collaboration difficult. When questioned, management maintains that everything is “aligned,” even when it clearly isn’t - Concerns around transparency or consistency are often dismissed or labeled as “negative,” with more emphasis on staying positive than actually addressing the underlying issues - Promotions don’t always feel merit-based, there’s a perception that being a “yes person” is valued more than actual performance
