Pros

Some good perks and the potential to make some decent money here and there if lucky

Cons

Where to begin! Senior Management is essentially built up of promoted sales reps who found themselves in the right place at the right time. This has lead to inept leadership that are clueless to what they're doing. London MDs need to pull a finger out and listen to their reps. They're ignoring our feedback and worse more, ignoring market conditions. PitchBook has a toxic environment where there have been way too many changes over the last months. Many have been demoted with a sugar coated alibi whilst others put on a precarious pedestal with unachievable targets. The air is ripe for more redundancies or resignations. There is limited cohesion amongst departments with many conflicts of interests existing between them. Rules are made to be broken. Never has anything more true been said in the context of PitchBook. Most must adhere, however a lucky few can do as they please. When such disparities are called out, you're simply labeled a complainer and told to work harder.

Declining Morale Amid Questionable Leadership Decisions

Pros

PitchBook used to be a great company.

Cons

The RTO policy is extremely inflexible, with little regard for actual productivity or employee preferences. Leadership is disconnected and indifferent to ground-level realities. Since the founder’s departure, decision-making has felt increasingly erratic, lacking coherence and long-term direction. Local leadership is particularly disappointing—they appear more focused on appeasing senior executives than representing or supporting their own teams, resulting in low trust, poor communication, and steadily declining morale. This is reflected in the fact that many employees have chosen to leave, contributing to ongoing attrition and a noticeable loss of experienced talent.
