Pros

There's so much opportunity to grow within this company, but you have to take the reigns. If you're someone who doesn't need to ask permission and isn't afraid to ask for what you deserve (and you've got incredible instincts), this is a great place to work. One of the most attractive qualities about this company is that if you truly are ambitious and a self-starter (and you don't mind working your ass off to achieve what you want), there's a good chance you'll do quite well.

Cons

Extremely low compensation. There's poor leadership. As the company is growing and expanding, it's losing sight of what's important, which is attracting and retaining talent. There's absolutely no mentorship and there are no job perks. They company hires leaders, but insists they follow. While opinions are encouraged, it's Gabbert's way or the highway. While management tells you that employees are only expected to commit 8 hours every day, to do the job and do it well, you'll be putting in 10-12 hours every day. "Work hard, play hard," only applies to the sales team. Research just works hard and goes home cranky.

Pros

The office is located in an awesome location - on the waterfront. Most sales people and other employees were absolutely amazing to work with. Team members were encouraging of one another, and people tried really hard to produce the product. Compensation was competitive, and benefits were good.

Cons

Upper management was lacking, to say the least. I was hired as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator, but did no marketing at all during my time at the company. I spent most of my time on collections and billing, and was sending faxes with the remaining time I had. Employees often were left in dark regarding company policy, etc., and clarification of these policies was not permitted - upper management definitely could have been more direct and honest. If you like an atmosphere where upper-management is emotion-free, professional, supportive, and assertive, this is not the place for you.

Pros

Lots of smart fun people. Development team is awesome. Product is phenomenal. The management made it through a very hard economy, and the company is thriving with 100% year over year growth for the last 2 years, and on track for another 100% this year. Not many can say that.

Cons

This is a great place for people that take initiative and want to grow, not for people just looking to show up. If you want to grow, you'll be given the opportunity, right from the beginning.
