Pros
You're working in baseball. Getting to go to the park every day is a dream come true. There are some fun perks like going to games as often as you want and seeing the inner workings of how the team really operates.
Cons
If this job wasn't in baseball, it would be terrible. Leadership is complacent (or in some cases, completely non-existent), there is no ambition to achieve anything great. Goals and targets are often unrealistic and pulled out of thin air. Turnover is incredibly high because of few opportunities for advancement and terrible pay. If the team is doing well, everything's a lot of fun, but as soon as those attendance numbers start dropping you'd better believe they're going to start cutting "perks" left and right. If you're willing to do the same rote tasks every year in exchange for a bad salary and getting to see some baseball games, this job is definitely for you. They're not going to fire you for bad performance, so you can definitely skate by with a lazy attitude (although they my lay you off at random when they start running out of money, which I witnessed more than once). But if you have any real desire to do something impactful, seek employment elsewhere.
