There are many hardworking and friendly employees here.

Cons

PlanMember Financial has a toxic and discouraging work environment due to the horrible culture of the company and its management. Favoritism and bias are very rampant in the workplace, and the managers' favorites are the only ones who are happy to work in this kind of environment. The rest of us feel miserable and awful.

Cons

Not much room for growth unless you are white. The minorities are there for years with no promotion and they bring in white people who get promoted fast with same education and less experience. Literally no black people work there. Minorities with degrees have been referred to the mail room. The pay is not competitive and the trade off is they pay for coffee and creamers.

One of the perks of working here is location. In beautiful Carpinteria right by the bluffs and ocean.

Cons

The company culture is very outdated. Also the policies. Need to keep up with the times and a better more positive atmosphere for employees. The salaries need to be a lot better for cost of living in the area. Especially in the financial industry.
