Pros

They have very interesting work, nice colleagues, good environment. I really appreciate the exp. The pay is also good, better than avg.

Cons

Sometimes the job and the whole environment are not very enthusiastic. But anyway, this is difficult to solve. Still good.

Pros

Many people are in their dream jobs, making video games for a living. Really smart, hard working people in a mostly relaxed, fun atmosphere. Generous training policy.

Cons

Game teams definitely have to crunch near title launch. Some game projects get cancelled; that's just the nature of the industry. Most managers have promoted through technical or design backgrounds. Very few have strong management skills.

Pros

well known and respected brand, interesting technology, no crunch time, relaxed atmosphere. Get to travel and meet lots of game developers. Can build an external network of connections. Visit trade shows and conferences.

Cons

Management ignores most employees except for the happy few, no career path. some colleagues are 'lifers' with lack of motivation, almost sleeping in their cubicle.
