      Great team spirit, dedication and camaraderie throughout most of the co. Certain depts profoundly dysfunctional.

      Pros

      Relaxed, fun atmosphere makes working hard satisfying and enjoyable. Small company, so opportunity to take on a spectrum of responsibility doing interesting work and interacting with many different facets of the business. Lots of employees who have been with the co. from the beginning, so fantastic opportunities to learn from veterans.

      Cons

      Certain support functions within the company are crippled by dangerously incompetent management.

      Cons

      A company that was created overnight allows untalented/unskilled managment to rise to levels where they are harmful to other employees. This company lacks a mission, goals and the performance review system is a joke. You are lucky to get a performance review. Many employees went without performance reviews for years.

      good company to get experience in, growth industry

      Pros

      good for resume. experience in the gaming industry. The company has grown very fast so intercommunications are a little slow and organizational stuff is hard to organize. It takes a lot of time to get projects approved, and sometimes they get killled - i guess all big companies are similar.

      Cons

      big company downsides, nothing unsual. Too many discussions with all company branches, a lot of time wated on talking about projects instead of just doing them. Sony's different companies don't talk to each other a lot, this is improving a lot in the last 2 years, and might make sony a much better place to work in.
