Pros
Pluralsight cares about individuals. The name says it all, although "sight" is actually short for "insight", which means, "the capacity to gain an accurate and deep intuitive understanding of a person or thing." The capacity to gain deep understanding. Pluralsight staff are learners. We are greater than the sum of our parts, and we keep getting better all the time.
Cons
Some people don't function well in a world without a lot of walls. We don't have a lot of rules - there are ambiguities that you have to participate in resolving. We also don't tolerate leaders who are out to gain power for themselves. If you are someone who doesn't function well without being in a box, or if you're power hungry and selfish, you would probably find a better fit elsewhere. We also have high expectations of our employees. We expect them to continually improve themselves, and that takes effort above and beyond your typical 9-5 job. While we don't ask people to work overtime, we do ask them to spend time on their own continuing to improve as people. Bringing new knowledge to the company every day. This isn't a lazy man's workplace, so don't apply if you're only in it for the unlimited time off :-)
