From Industry Leader to Short-Term Thinking and Blinded by Money
Pros
Good industry and continuously needed work
Cons
Early on, it was known for a strong culture, supportive leadership, and a genuine commitment to both employees and customers. There was a sense that doing the right thing mattered as much as achieving business results. Now leadership’s priorities have shifted exclusively toward achieving the highest revenue growth possible - regardless of right solution for the client, how to implement, and timeline. Decisions only reflect a focus on the bottom line and toxic culture rather than maintaining a healthy culture, investing in employees, or ensuring long-term customer success. Greed is their current objective. Stressful and unrewarding work with unrealistic and unachievable timelines and measures. No upside skills or lessons learned that you can walk away with like you would find with other demanding companies. Not worth it and things will only get worse.
