Thank you for your feedback. We appreciated hearing that you enjoyed the work and felt supported by supervisors. We understand that this work can be challenging and we encourage BHTs to use the numerous resources that we offer in order to assist with preventing burnout. We also understand that client cancellations can be frustrating. We attempt to provide subbing and training opportunities, when possible, to try to supplement. We believe that our rates are comparable for the BHT position in comparison to other providers. The BHT position does not require a Bachelor's degree, but it is certainly helpful! Thank you again for sharing your perspective. Your input is valued and plays an important role in helping us grow and improve as an organization.

Pros

Flexibility and lots of PTO given for long term employees is the reason I stay.

Cons

Low pay for having a BS and being a long term employee. No work if clients are absent or they don’t have a client available for you. Summers are hard with low hours. No room for growth without getting more degrees.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for your many years of dedication to Ponessa Behavioral Health. We truly appreciate your long-term commitment and are glad to hear that flexibility and generous PTO have been meaningful factors in your decision to stay with us. We value your honest feedback regarding compensation, consistency of hours, and opportunities for growth. These are important concerns, particularly for long-term employees, and we recognize the challenges that can arise during slower periods such as the summer months. Your input reinforces the importance of ongoing evaluation of pay structures, retention efforts, and career development pathways. Thank you again for taking the time to provide thoughtful feedback and for the work you’ve done over the years to support our consumers and communities.
