Good product, questionable leadership

Pros

Postscript has a good product with a lot of growth potential. Remote-first environment with a pretty flexible working schedule.

Cons

BDR team has extremely slow promos to AE and a high turnover rate. Top performing BDRs generally have to wait 2-3 years to get promoted, and are very quick to let people go if you have 1-2 bad months. Growing company with a lot of potential, but tread lightly before joining on.

Pros

4/10 work schedule, 3 day weekends, cool desk mates, no other responsibilities aside from texts

Cons

your professional career and momentum may come to a painfully slow halt. If you're looking for guidance and mentors, do not start here. Though its a remote startup for the rest of the company, there is barely any communication or mentorship from the rest of the company. Training was only like half a week long and then we were working live. They praise a good revenue day but don't check on the the staff after we've done mental gymnastics working many many different brands at once and expect us to do it again the next day. The customers you text are not the nicest too. All you do is text about discounts all day and they'll buy Chick Fil A and donut holes as a thank u. Show up and go home. Your coworkers are great but with the lunch schedule, be aware you may find yourself going up and down the office building to find a private place to eat alone - only 4 people or so are released to go to lunch every 30 minutes or so. You get (2) 15 minute breaks in a 10 hour day. I hope you don't mind music playing on a speakers while you work. People vape and spit nicotine pouches and watch Netflix at their desk you can tell that people are over it and are ready to jump ship as the rest of the company hires externally instead of prioritizing their own staff's growth. They're going to say "we're building the plane as we fly it" and that always made me feel nervous. Big regret.
