Pros

Good start to a young career start. Leadership was very hands on and helpful.

Cons

Sometimes leadership could be to aggressive and pushy.

Pros

-Quality work on the front lines -Just starting to think about providing better tools for project and business planning -Recovered pretty well from the down economy (even though it's not entirely great right now)

Cons

-Few people in back office have worked on a job site (but many have plenty of opinions about it) -Have a lot of old schoolers with a low adaptation rate (have no idea or interest for that matter for what's going on beyond their bubble) -Most people are very cynical of management -Leadership more concerned with their title and authority than substance and leadership -If their planning from my pro's works, it will be a great company in 5 years but I'd rather work somewhere else until then -Set the stage for competition, but to a fault (people can be really obtuse to each other)

PDI and the Gossip More Parties and Asking for Positive reviews

Pros

Events that take up the entire day so productivity is down and then you get in trouble for not working enough

Cons

Power Design asks for reviews to be in TOP WORKPLACES so they can brag about the accolades in the quarterly "brag about ourselves for half a day" meetings. The executives stand on stage trying put on such a cool facade while they brag about the company and make employees stand cramped inside the gym. You are not allowed to watch it from your desk or CONTINUE working. No - just stand cramped for hours while you watch this nonsense. ANOTHER PARTY BBQ YAY and more money WASTED - they spend close to a mil on these parties instead of bonuses. BUT YET MORE TIME WASTED.
