Thank you for taking the time to provide some feedback. Free lunch is definitely a perk that many of our team members enjoy. I'm sorry there were some aspects that you didn't enjoy and would like to respond to some of them. While we agree that our turnover could always improve - it's currently the lowest it's been in at least 5 years. It's also comparable to companies with a similar demographic and type of work. We believe strongly in promoting from within and have dozens of examples of that happening in the past year; our policy does require that you've been in your current role for at least six months before transferring, so that you can gain some valuable knowledge about the work and our culture. It's actually an Illinois State Law that requires that employees take at least a 20 minute lunch - and we also feel it's important for our team members to have a break from their work!

Pros

The building is great and benefits are good. A good portion of the employees are professional and work hard. Our customers are the best!

Cons

Awful managers, they know nothing about performance management. Upper management plays the popularity game that should have been left in high school. They don't realty have a grasp of who their good employees are and are losing them because of that. The is no loyalty to their long term staff. They make promises they don't keep to the customers.

Thank you for taking the time to provide some feedback. We are glad that you enjoy working with our customers and some aspects of your job. As a current employee, I would encourage you to contact the VP of People Ops so that we can review your specific concerns. It's difficult to address them without more information. We do our best to promote from within, and are always improving the training and resources that we provide to new managers. As always, we'll review this feedback with the leadership team and keep it in mind as we continue to improve on our culture and work environment.

Pros

Profit bonuses are split evenly between all employees. And, as of 1/1/2016 the entire company is playing The Great Game of Business.

Cons

1. Very little diversity in the workplace; anyone not white, straight, and Christian rarely lasts more than a couple of months. 2. Low hourly wage and non-salaried employees are constantly in jeopardy of losing their jobs based on the gossip of a few select employees.

Thank you for taking the time to provide some feedback. I'm glad that you see the value in the Great Game of Business and that every employee receives the same bonus regardless of their level - we agree that these are some of the great things about working at PV! Consistent with our core value of Continuous Improvement, we are always striving to improve things like the frequency of positive recognition, diversity, communication, and other components of our culture and hiring practices. We do take your feedback seriously and have reviewed this information with leadership. As a current employee, you know that our culture is continuously evolving. I hope that you have seen some improvements during your time with us, and will continue to in the future. As always, you are welcome to contact me at peopleops@practicevelocity.com, or schedule some time with any member of the People Ops team.
