Pros

Team atmosphere and positive attitudes are a big plus. I started work here as a software developer about a year ago and was made to feel welcome right from the start. They are open to new ideas and are using new technologies. I really like the agile environment.

Cons

When I started I had to spend over a month getting trained and spending a lot of time as a user (biller and support) of their software. I really wanted to write code, but it was't so bad and let's me understand the reason and uses of our product much better.

Extremely disappointing and disgusting

Pros

Good pay, nice co workers

Cons

if you don't have a strict background in coding or transcription don't even bother applying. They will get rid of you if you're not psychic, and don't "fit in" with your team. Plus, everyone walks on eggshells all day long. The ceo isn't too bad but the "supervisors" will find anything you do to nitpick. Constant pressure from the sups and they don't care about helping people that don't have a background in coding. You also can't have magazines out on your desk at all. Ridiculous. Since illinois is an at will state, they won't give you a reason if they fire you even you ask repeatedly. Unbelievable!

Sorry that PV did not work for you. As for experience, PV hires and trains many new employees who have little or no medical or billing experience. We do wish you well in your current job.
