They are going through a "journey" so many can hide behind the idea that they are working on the journey

Cons

They are just taking products that run in "on-prem", integrating them and putting them in the cloud.... but there's no new development. It's a buy a company, integrate them by adding them to the "journey" and look for an additional PE firm to buy us.

Breakneck M&A activity trades technical debt for market share; no serious interest in great technologies. After you are acquired, your job will be replaced with a req in India as soon as your knowledge is mined. Diversity is discussed, but never implemented. Talks a lot of self-care but demands unreal performance.
