Company promotes PTO and caring for mental health, being told we need to limit PTO, and push mandatory OT. If someone is out for 1 day they need to make up 4 hours, 2 days, 3 hours and so on. Being asked why the team is carrying a high PTO balance, they need to take time off. It is important. Teams are burnt out, exhausted and beat down.
Employee's are inquiring about FMLA being told to not offer it as a resource as we have too many cases under current leadership. If someone is out on protected leave manager tells you that you didn't do your job.
