      Going in the right direction

      Pros

      When I initially started at PL, I was worried that the new leadership would not be able to get the tenured people to change their bad habits-- they have. Though there has been a significant amount of turnover since the new leadership team started, everything is going in the right direction. Automation is being built for things that should be automated, our clinical experts are working directly with clients again, and people are starting to trust the leadership team again.

      Cons

      The hand full of people remaining that still use terms like, that's not how we do things. These are people that are holding on to old processes that are out dated and don't work. There's also not an even distribution of work, even amongst the leadership team.

      The leadership team listens to it's employees and makes informed decisions that benefit all stakeholders. Teams collaborate to achieve the best results for our students, providers, and clients. Everyone is positive and ready to jump in when times get busy.

      Mission-driven company with great leadership

      Pros

      Opportunities to do good things for kids with special ed needs. A lot of new energy from new hires including all new exec team.

      Cons

      A lot of changes have been made, I think for the better but it can be hard to go through it.
