Pros

*Innovative and always looking to improve to better meet the needs of kids, their schools, and their communities *Compassionate - family first, works hard to insure employees achieve balance, encourages both new pet and pet bereavement time off, engaged senior leadership

Cons

*Employee salaries and contractor pay rates are on the lower end of their competitors *The clinical perspective isn't always solicited for opinions concerning company direction when not only are we subject matter experts but we understand the inner machinations of school districts better than those who have never worked in or for a school.

Great, family-friendly, mission-driven organization

Pros

The leadership and people in the company are supportive, welcoming and willing to collaborate. There is a lot of flexibility and understanding of working parents juggling during the pandemic. It's also a mission-driven organization working on behalf of children with special needs so everyone is motivated by the same goal- to provide better services to kids.

Cons

The only con is not necessarily specific to PL but rather more of a result of the pandemic we are in. It has been hard to build meaningful working relationships with people and build shared trust since we haven't been able to meet in person. Fingers crossed that changes soon and I can finally meet people in person!

Thank you for your review. We are happy to hear that the programming created to support our PL'ers during the pandemic was well received. Additionally, we understand how the pandemic has affected relationship building. We will continue to explore ways to keep us connected as a PL community until it is safe to do so in person.
