Pros

Flexible, foward-thinking, solutions oriented company. Friendly and compassionate coworkers and leaders Impactful work with sustainability focus

Cons

Constant changing, if you like static working environment you will not enjoy the constant change and reorganization that comes with working at PresenceLearning (as with any startup) There are some growing pains and leadership changes as the company has reached a tipping point. Company is working to realign focus but has many new leaders with their own vision that can create an "old school" vs "new school" dynamic.

Pros

- Product team is incredible - great people who trust each other. You're trusted (and expected) to get your work done, have it be high quality, but how you do it is up to you. Managers specifically "protect you" from distractions and obstacles, you can work from home 1 day or so as needed. Really great. - Company is very mission driven and upper management solicits feedback and listens. They really put people first. - Company is doing really well - great future here

Cons

- Growing pains of any startup - scaling challenges, some bureaucracy creeping in, a bit more financial focused at the moment so I want to make sure we keep the culture I joined for.

Pros

Some of the many benefits of working for PL include: 1) The mission is REAL. Most companies have a positive mission, but PL's mission to help kids is not just a "feel good" statement it's actually achievable and what we strive to do. 2) The people are awesome! Everyone wants what's best for the kids we serve, the company as a whole, and one another. 3) Being able to WFH- Enough said... 4) Visits to Headquarters (San Fransisco), company meeting in Las Vegas, "Holiday" paid time off, exciting incentives...

Cons

Extremely face-paced! Only 4 days of training at HQ, and was expected to know my job / perform well.
