HX townhall event is inspiring. They have a monopoly on the PX market which creates some interesting opportunities.

Cons

Very few people looking at what's right for the company, rather everyone is looking over their back, and plotting how to climb a monarchy style corporate ladder. Senior leadership absolutely uses and abuses staff. It was a war of attrition to see who could put up with the most abuse whilst knuckling down and completing tasks with no opportunity for personal development. Do not work here. As a monopoly in their industry, this has created a poisonous work culture right throughout the business.

The on boarding process at PG is one of the best I’ve ever experienced. From day one, the company lays a strong foundation for success. Comprehensive resources are provided, including clear timelines, links to relevant learning modules, and social media connection points. New hires are assigned mentors early on, creating a strong support network. Leadership is highly accessible – within my first week, I had a one-on-one with my Director, participated in a meeting with the VP and new hire peers around team goals, and was scheduled to meet with mentors in week two. The learning modules are thoughtfully designed and provide a solid introduction to PG‘s best in class product portfolio.

The company has a noble mission that employees can get behind and see the positive impact that they have.

Cons

The company drastically changed around 2021. This was a great place to work. Had the usual company overhead but you could get what you needed. After a management change it took a nosedive. Before the mgmt change PG had a 4.3 rating on Glassdoor, as I am writing this it is a full point down from that. That is a significant drop. Everything became more difficult to do, staffing needs were not met, backfill of positions dried up. You had to do more with less even if you made a solid case. Compensation also took a hit. Employees for multiple years were getting 2% merit increases while only getting half of their bonus. They lost many people due to this. On multiple occasions the company stopped 401k matches. They did this all while still being profitable, just not profitable enough.
