Pros

Teams are very supportive because we’re in the trenches together. Client relationships are fantastic, if you’re allowed to have them and don’t have to work in the “pod” model. Flexible schedule to manage work/life balance. Unlimited PTO so you can take a break from the chaos.

Cons

Pay inequality across the Patient Experience department with no opportunities for growth or advancement in the role. Promotions and raises outside of the 2% annual don’t exist. Hybrid schedule forced on those who live within 45 miles of an office while others can continue to work remote *another inequity*. Leadership is constantly changing and making decisions without vetting the downstream impact on processes and the actual people doing the work for clients.

Pros

Very generous time off be it vacation time personal time and sick time. Mostly flexible hours one less you were advised not to be flexible.

Cons

Very low pay. The market evaluation for the duties that they have you do seems to be very outdated with what they have tacked on in the past few years. If work is slow they can tell you to log out and they will tell you to watch your email when to log back in that will interfere with your day-to-day life. If another department is slow they can mandate you to come into the office and work And it seems that this is the only department that is mandated to do that. But thanks for going above and beyond are generic and hollow. When asked about the salary raise it was stated to the employees that it was the market rate and that since nobody was quitting it would not be looked into. The flexible schedule is not as flexible as it used to be since COVID and there is no sign that it won't ever revert back. 401k has been suspended multiple times because the company was low on the sales end and then they would proceed to purchase companies because it was in a different fund.

Pros

Working from home is great! The healthcare benefits are pretty good as well.

Cons

The pay is horrible. The only people who get any type of kudos are sales and they are not the only ones who help the company make money. They are behind the ball when it comes to how much they give in raises. 2% per year is nothing. Literally pennies. They should at least attempt to keep up with COLA.
