Pros

If you are a person that only cares about getting results no matter what it takes (even losing your integrity & respect) then this is the company for you. They pay pretty well if you are a top performer. They have 2,000 locations so you have a lot of possibilities to move and stay within the company.

Cons

There isn't any written and unified culture but there definitely is a culture. The unwritten culture is not about the people it's only about the results produced. You are just a number to them. When the VP says "If you don't like it, then we will shake your hand and show you the door" or "Go cry in the corner and get back to work", it creates a very cold place to work. The compensation is very good if you are a high volume sales person. You have to work at a high volume store to earn a decent pay. You are much better off working at an AT&T store where the pay, benefits, work/life balance is much better. They pick and choose when they want to follow company policy which is when it suits them. You don't get paid your last two months commissions and bonuses when you quit (commissions & bonuses are paid two mths after the mth ends).

Pros

Only pros are that I can sit on my phone and use it to go on this page and leave this review. Only other good this I can kinda do whatever I want here

Cons

The people you work with. HAVENT MET A SINGLE MANAGER who can take the time out to help a rep. All the managers do is talk crap about their employees and I have proof to show it. The upper management is absolutely the worst to experience and working here is like working with all the kids you didn’t like in high school. Balancing work / life is extremely difficult. Getting the days off for vacation or something is like getting a limb ripped off

Pros

People you work with. Customers who you want to genuinely help.

Cons

I am putting in my two weeks notice on Monday in the Texas region. I can not work for a company who encourages fraud and promotes illegal activity. I will be having a meeting with the local AT&T directors regarding the unethical sales practice by upper management and store managers of Prime. Customers are getting continually lied to regarding “bundles” in which sales reps will include prepaid services without the customers knowledge. Customers personal information is left in open areas in order to “flip” TVs and broadband, which is completely against AT&T rules and regulations. This company promotes those who use these sales tactics for sales. Prime needs to be investigated.
