You are forced to commit fraudulent sales in order to hit goals for the store. This IS NOT a place for you if you have any sense of morals/integrity. In order to hit the outrageous goals - you will be forced to lie to customers and steal from them, and then laugh about it later with your coworkers. Commission/Bonus pay has been cut in half since I started to work here. I’m trending to make 50k-60k as a Store Manager when I have made that in previous years as an entry level sales rep. You have absolutely no way to track your bonus check and see how much it is. You can hit every goal/metric one month and expect a 4k bonus check for that month - but when it hits your account it’s $2,500? The commissions department will not share details with you about your pay and when you begin to dig too deep to see why your check was short - your District Manager will get upset with you and tell you to quit the company if you can’t deal with it because “you can only control what you can control.” Or “we don’t have the man-power to track bonuses/commissions and share those details.” Someone’s pockets are being lined for our sales in the store - but it isn’t our pockets! So where’s it going?! The products we sell are mediocre at best and inferior - but the goals are extremely high, even if the product isn’t available in your area. The tools we are given are flawed - your quote to the customer will be $100/month, their first bill will be miraculously over $400 and will never be $100/month. It’s a disaster. Lastly, LITERALLY NOTHING IN THE STORE WORKS. Everything’s broken electronic wise and the IT department is a joke. Prime has bought the cheapest equipment ever and expects it to work. Imagine you’re a roofer - your only tools to succeed are a hammer and nails. Every nail breaks, the hammer-head falls off every swing and when you mention it to your boss he tells you to “deal with it” or “if you don’t like it then quit.” RUN, run far away from this company. I feel the need to add that I am not a bitter employee who has created my own problems here, I have been very successful with this company and have received many accolades for my work. I’m writing an honest review here as I plan on transitioning out of this company to a more rewarding and less stressful position.
