Pros

At&t wireless discount on up to 5 lines of service,

Cons

Where to start...well the left hand and the right hand of this company don’t know what the other is doing, which isn’t surprising because they merged their 800 stores with springMobiles 1200 stores. They’re not clear with the pay structure and how you make your commissions nor do they make it easy to track how much your commission pay will be and they pay it out 2 months later, so if you quit you can kiss those sales checks goodbye. 401k match is now yearly instead of bi weekly which I had to email HR to even find that out..Pretty sad when the market director didn’t know about our compensation and doesn’t have his trainings complete yet wants to act like we need lessons on selling but is just full of hot air posting nothing but memes and gifs in group chats all day. Any problem you may have they just say contact your DM, there’s no true support and commitment to the sales force...from what I heard prime made a deal with att to absorb their useless arsms they were going to lay off and that makes sense as to why the knowledge and support is so lacking in upper management ..they’re nothing but robot like cheerleaders who aren’t in touch with the reality of the retail sales environment or customer service and retention...they will pressure you to sell direct tv to every customer and not be completely forthcoming in costs and details, if you don’t sell direct tv you will not make a penny of commission and they expect you to do everything under the sun to make sales, they don’t care how you get new business accounts set up and they don’t care if you’re sick or struggling working alone open to close without a real break they just want you to pitch direct tv and put up numbers! Stay away this industry as a whole is just going down hill faster than ever. I wish prime was amazon related and not just a venture capitalist looking to line his pockets more. These employees mostly live check to check and they all deserve to be treated with respect and trust not just a replaceable number! They just keep taking away and expecting more.. squeezing employees dry micro managing them to death

Pros

Discount on wireless service, that’s it.

Cons

Where do I start? I have never worked for such a dishonest business! So many shady and unethical practices are encouraged from the top of the ladder. Customers are overcharged for services they don’t even want or ask for. Sales quotas are unattainable unless you sip the kool aid and get with the program and start doing fraudulent things to customers accounts. Guess what though... at the end of the month when it’s time for your commission payout (3 months later) that you’ve earned with all the lies and customers you’ve screwed over... they will find a way to only pay you half! Management is a joke. You’re either in with the crowd or you’re not. Favoritism all around. IT is a joke. Farid hired all his family members... good luck trying to understand those guys! No room for growth whatsoever. Benefits are trash. No overtime and if you go over, you get a write up. The turnover rate is extremely high! They’re quick to remind you how easily replaceable you are. Every day there is a new change or requirement. They run the whole company from TEXAS so it’s not like you can walk into a local building and talk to someone in HR. The whole company is a joke. I’ll wait on my collective lawsuit settlement check for working off the clock, not receiving my breaks, etc... oh wait I might not get one of those because we were forced to sign those rights away.

Pros

The pro was for the most part being there was never anything I could really quickly kill myself with in store. After my old company had been purchased the higher management was so disconnected with us they kind of ignored us for good or for bad because they just felt it'd all settle eventually.

Cons

I was lied about pay and salary. Commissions were fought over and seldom paid, and if paid, charge backs needed reviewed because over 80% of them were illegitimate. I was told I had to fire my staff of two people forcing me to work alone for 4 months, 7 days a week, open to close alone. When asked for time off I was denied until I threatened action. After the buy out I signed a contract stating they'd honor my seniority and honor my original hire date; in which I was to receive my PTO. When the date came I requested time off to find I had none.I contacted human resources and sent them a copy of the work contract I signed. They said though it was worded stating that was the case it was false and if I wanted to sue I could get a lawyer and lose in court and lose my job over it. Did I have any more questions. Advancement was controlled by nothing more then sales numbers so morons in faster stores are promoted to higher management due to high numbers to only cause issues and a high mid level turn over rate for higher managers. Logistics and communications were horrific. Over emailed every hour of every day. All logistics were failed attempts at getting bottom grade supplies. I was asked to work off the clock to prevent over time, and told if I did not work off the clock I would be reprimanded for "not being a team player." Selling refurbished phones that were a below standard grade knowingly of their defects, specifically targeting the poor, elderly, or less educated and detailing a lack of warranty or return policy in the fine print on receipts. The company promoted account fraud through requiring "free features" be put on accounts even when specifically requested to not be put on or removed. In addition it was suggested to document social security information and account passcode information on a physical sales funnel for easy access to accounts to perform upgrade and U-verse checks. Knowingly selling defective or bad accessories. In general this had been the worst company I had ever worked for... if I could truly rate this company it would not aspire to a single star..
