Pros
Getting experience to start a new career
Cons
Directors treating people like their slaves Promotions not based on merit but on how well you can suck up to management and snitch on other employees. A new trend in hiring attractive Eastern European and Russian ladies who the VP promotes to supervisory, managerial and director positions within 3 months to 1 year of hire, while other hardworking employees are sidelined. The Directors ( who are Indians and Iranian) talk to people in a condescending way and throw their people under the bus at any slight opportunity. They are given these titles (which can't be defended outside Prime) but have no clue what they are doing. They give their work to their employees and take the glory without acknowledging the folks that actually did the work. They fire people for no reason just because you are either not the right color or they simply can't stand you. To justify the termination ,they cook up theories of you not doing your job right, while those that don't know what they are doing are retained.HR does nothing about a particular Director that insults her employees and shouts at them. If the VP doesn't like you, you are done because he will make sure you get little or no raises and he would frustrate you till you decide to leave. There is a whole lot of authoritarian rule and employees are not appreciated. A good number of sound employees are leaving because of bad management. The VP and Directors act like demigods and cannot be challenged. Employees are scared of the management.
