Pros

Any pros of working here have been eliminated within the last 6 months.

Cons

Working form home is a “privilege” and is taken away often based on how often a candidate starts a role. The metrics they use to measure success change almost weekly. There is no gratitude of “good enough”. Ever. And the only response you get it “Well, this is a Sales Role, and you knew that coming in to it. Gossip is rampant. The mental role it takes and the distraction it causes are nearly insurmountable. Leadership changes their stance often, and doesn’t stick to anything they do. Favoritism is rampant and there is a double standard for cis het white men, specifically. If you are black, a POC, a member of the LGBTQ, or even simply a woman, I cannot stress enough that this is not an environment you want to be in. Especially considering the current administration of this country.

Pros

They were great at getting me in the door. Higher pay than average in my field, easy to get ahold of, lots of promises.

Cons

High pay and yet no communication about how that pay would be cut severely because they do not pay any portion of your insurance. For JUST ME I was paying over $400 a month and could no longer afford to hold my husbands insurance which would have been $1600 A MONTH!! On top of that I had verified the cost of insurance which should have been $400 a month for both of us BEFORE I signed up and then they changed their tune stating that was per payday, weekly, equaling the $1600 a month. It was only after fighting them and showing them they had confirmed cost that they back pedaled and let me sign up for just me. On top of that not sure if they communicated effectively with my placement but nothing that was promised to me was actually kept in the job description and I ended up being a paraprofessional and doing nothing for behavioral services. Overall I will not be back.

Pros

You will always know about new job opportunities (because recruiters will call you 5+ times a day about the same job - some call this harassment, procare will say they are just doing their job)

Cons

For any discipline from SLP to OT, RBTs, nurses, and anyone in between. You CAN make more money, I promise you. These recruiters WILL low ball you on your hourly wage (it is not inherently their fault it is what they are trained to do) . Essentially, the money they are making off you is wild, im talking 50%+ margins. So if they are paying you $30+/hour just know they are making that too (this money could go to you if they didn't operate off greed). How it works, the schools will pay a bill rate to procare for your employment. So for example, if the bill rate is $100/hr, and you only make $40/hour. The other $60 is going straight into procares wallet. Out of the $60 into procares wallet, recruiters will only see %2 of it in commissions. ALWAYS negotiate higher, even if they say the can't go that high, yes they can. Candidates will always have the power over these recruiters, they are desperate for you to sign a contract and will do just about anything to get you to sign.
