Pros

Pay scale near top of the market and management does a good job keeping the equipment up to date. Good coworkers.

Cons

Management keeps trying to do more, and more, with less staff. For a couple years it was almost impossible to get approved for time off due to lack of staff or coverage. It's still difficult but improving.

I was paid. I liked my peers and most of the doctors. I loved my patients and the cafeteria food was good.

Cons

Bureaucratic hold ups are very frustrating, unanswered emails, lack of communication, inappropriate hiring practices-relatives, unqualified friends, no oppurtunities for staff involvement, no transparency which frustrates employees, common mindset is, "Why bother saying anything. What good will it do?" Very toxic work environment.

I love working at West Wood Health and Fitness. Management is good. The facility is kept up-to-date and really clean. The members and staff are fun to work with and one learns from them.

Cons

Sometimes everyone needs a substitute for their work hours on a given day. Many employees are accommodating, but it is hard to find replacements for evenings and weekends.
