Pros

Friendly Coworkers, utilizes Epic software, mid-sized hospital that offers full services to patients

Cons

Poor management and leadership, unfair pay is a recurrent issue that is a large contributor to a high turnover rate in addition to non-responsive management team particularly on weekends for emergent issues, high turnover rate results in expectation for pharmacists to work overtime and fill empty positions long term causing consistent burnout, little to no appreciation towards team from management, HR admitted to lack of standard processes to ensure fair pay for loyal employees that remain within the system for >1 year, no opportunities for growth within the system

Pros

Great front line staff that have the passion to do the right thing and help

Cons

More time is spent doing duplicate or triplicate documentation in multiple places than the time it takes to make an update or fix. Treating EMR same as IT changes is not appropriate and is keeping Prohealth from leading the area in functionality.

Thank you for your input. The health of our organization is important as we can continue to grow, add people and technology to expand our services to better serve our employees and the community. Our level of documentation is tied to regulatory requirements, patient safety and EMR and IT technology. The leadership team at ProHealth Care welcomes feedback related to challenges or barriers our employees experience. Problem-solving and evolving with technology is something we do well. If you would like to share insight you feel would be helpful in improving the employee experience, please reach out to HR to discuss so we can explore your specific concerns. Our door is open!

Pros

Finally raised the wage because so many employees left after management changes last year. I am close to retirement so not too many years left here.

Cons

WORST MANAGEMENT I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH!! Working with uneducated loud crazy women because they are so desperate for people and can't retain people. If you want a socialist environment, then come on in and apply. Poor work ethic, not too smart, victimhood and entitlement are not frowned upon, instead the intelligent employees will just have to pick up your work and JUST CULTURE will give you a positive thumbs up for effort. Not kidding!! Employees are not held to the same standard and management retaliates selectively. Careful and come in with tough back skin. You never know who holds the dagger. Did I mention it is run by ALL WOMEN?! Not a healthy environment and there is a reason no one transfers internally to this crap show,

ProHealth Care employs many men and women and is an equal opportunity employer. As the health care environment continues to grow and change, so do we - to remain a strong and stable organization. We have a strong leadership team who genuinely cares about the health, happiness and success of our employees as demonstrated in our introduction of our behavior expectations, The ProHealth Experience. As an employee who has been with us for years, we ask that you reach out to HR team to talk about your concerns. By understanding what you are experiencing, we can take steps to help you and others navigate change and build on our promise of "The way you should be treated."
