Rapidly Growing, Highly Collaborative Team that was Remote Before it was Cool

Pros

Our culture was built to be remote from the start, so we've long embraced the idea of belonging and collaboration from afar. Our values encourage all employees to "act like an owner," empowering them to be autonomous - we believe the people closest to a problem usually have the best solutions. We're lucky to have a product that customers love, and we're funded by amazing investors like Accel, Atlassian, and Salesforce Ventures. I'm proud to be on a team that's not just full of smart people, but smart, GOOD people. My colleagues consistently make me proud of the group I belong to.

Cons

We're growing fast, but we're a startup, which means sometimes rolling up your sleeves, and wearing multiple hats. (Okay, so I mixed my clothing metaphors. ) I like that, but also recognize that it's not for everyone.

Pros

C-suite leaders are humble. They’re willing to admit when they don’t know something. Or accept that they don’t have a good answer and ask for ideas. The positive culture starts at the top. High level of transparency. On day one, at my first all hands meeting, the CEO presented historical and current revenue numbers and cash in bank. Wow! Genuinely good and caring people. I enjoy working with every person across the whole company. 100% remote, remote-first culture, high work-life balance. Cross-department collaboration has improved dramatically. Early stage, so you get to wear many hats and have a big impact very quickly. No shortage of personal growth and career opportunity. We care about process and automation. The right amount to help and remove the need to think in the areas you shouldn’t need it (like setting up your local environment or deploying code), so you have more time and cognitive freedom to do the creative work. Probably no surprise that the company embodies the ideals of the product. Massive market opportunity. Exciting product, and one that you can easily believe in and get behind.

Cons

Growing fast - so some roles aren’t filled with a full-time person yet. This is improving as we scale.

Pros

The people Process Street attracts are high-performing, talented, passionate, and just good people. We work really well together as a team and each person is able to contribute their unique strengths which makes work really fulfilling. Working remotely is great, and we have an all-team retreat coming up so we will get our in-person fix as well.

Cons

We're growing fast which is actually a Pro, but there are of course those growing pains of those super busy times. We are hiring at an appropriate pace for the growth though so we're keeping up!
