Pros

Appreciate the different flex hour shifts to help balance family and home life; productive, quiet work atmosphere; good support team effort.

Cons

It's a bit of a drive to work for me, but being able to work an earlier shift has helped with my commute.

Pros

Management is concerned about your professional growth and they strive to give you the experiences to expand and grow. Employee appreciation events are planned each year.

Cons

It can be challenging to see exactly how all employees are be treated equally. Promotion qualifications should be posted for all employees to understand what they need to do to reach the next level.

Thank you for your response. Proctor Financial, Inc. cares about its employees both personally and professionally. We encourage our employees to begin dialogue with their supervisors if they are looking for more responsibility or additional opportunities within their current role. PFI offers the opportunity for employees to meet one-on-one with their management team to seek additional information, and requirements to advance to the next position. When posting positions internally, we ensure that the requirements are specific and stated clearly, so our team members are aware of what it takes to get to the next level. Our employees are our best resource and we are very open to process improvement input from an employee perspective.

Pros

Paid time off, pleasant people to work with. Mid-level management are very nice and understanding to learning positions.

Cons

They tell you they will hire you in after 90 days and then they "lay you off" due to downsizing. Also, the pay is not adequate for the type of work it is.

Thank you for your comment. Proctor Financial have had minimal downsizing within the last few years. Generally temporary employees are eligible to transition over to a permanent employee after 90 days. Each temporary employee has an opportunity to demonstrate meeting proper attitudes and abilities for the position for which he or she is employed. This is evaluated on an individual basis, and is based on if qualifications have been met for the position within the 90 days. Each situation is different, and PFI has had many temporary employees transition over to permanent. We strive to hire individuals that excel in meeting the requirements of the organization.
