Thank you for your comment. Proctor Financial have had minimal downsizing within the last few years. Generally temporary employees are eligible to transition over to a permanent employee after 90 days. Each temporary employee has an opportunity to demonstrate meeting proper attitudes and abilities for the position for which he or she is employed. This is evaluated on an individual basis, and is based on if qualifications have been met for the position within the 90 days. Each situation is different, and PFI has had many temporary employees transition over to permanent. We strive to hire individuals that excel in meeting the requirements of the organization.

Pros

They offer great benefits are willing to train you in just about anything. There are a lot of opportunities with this growing company.

Cons

You have to work through a staffing agency in most cases before you get hired. They say it is around 3 months before you get hired in but that is not always the case.

Thank you for your feedback. Each temporary employee is evaluated on an individual basis. We base this process on the performance of the employee within the department. As with any organization, not every employee is a suitable fit for the organization. However, we welcome temporary employees, and if they have the skills and meet the required qualifications, he or she definitely has an opportunity to transition to a Proctor Financial employee.

Pros

The manager's are easily accessible, so you can work with upper management directly. The work environment is open and laid back, so it's very pleasant. Proctor offers generous benefits and even as a salaried employee, they never really expect you to stay late.

Cons

Proctor offers very little opportunities for advancement. In fact, I felt like because I had a college degree, I was singled out as a threat by my fellow coworkers. I was specifically told that I would be trained on duties so I could cover for them, but due to job security, I would not learn all the details of my coworkers' job function. Management will not offer praise or criticism. In fact, sometimes I did not know if my boss was there or not. Also, I feel like the company is very top heavy salary wise. I feel my nominal salary was fair, but at Proctor I was underworked and consequently underpaid. I would highly recommend Proctor for someone who wants to put in their 40 hrs, do their basic job functions, make a decent wage, and punch out. But for an ambitious person looking to build a career, I urge you to stay away from Proctor. This place literally drove me insane!

PFI encourages all employees to seek the opportunity to advance within the company. PFI offers the opportunity for employees to meet one-on-one with their management team to seek additional information, and requirements to advance to the next position.
