Very frustrating, no room for suggestions or changes, company has serious 'growing pains.'

Pros

You get a very comfortable work environment with very reasonable expectations. Management is generally accepting and cordial. Great job security. But very little praise or criticism.

Cons

No room for growth....management will restrict you. In many cases, the best performers are held back to protect 'job security' of management. A college degree will make you a 'threat' to many managers, so don't look to set the bar high. The harder you try to advance, the firmer the resistance you'll encounter.

Pros

I enjoyed the people I worked with mostly. The management was good and basically let us do what we needed to do, providing support when asked.

Cons

There are times when managers are not as responsive as they should be. It is not too bad, though, most of the time if you just bring it to their attention they will help you out.

We appreciate your review, thank you for your feedback. PFI management teams are proactive in assisting employees with training and skill development. Managers are very accessible and approachable, and maintain constant communication with their teams. At PFI, we believe that Managers need to be accessible to their teams, for example all manager desks are located "on the floor" in the same department they manage, which allows employees to have constant access to approach managers of all levels.
