Pros

Truly mission driven company and culture. On occasion PCM has lost money rather than bill their clients, which they are entitled to, when the payer source refuses to reimburse the company. Strong leadership team, with a lot of systems and processes put in place in the past year that makes my live easier. From what I hear from meeting people who left in 2015 or before, probably won't recognize the place given all the positive changes that has taken place since.

Cons

Rapidly growing company that spans four time zones, sometimes communication is difficult and we only learn about a new initiative after the fact. To their credit the outreach and marketing leaders have put in a lot more effort to increase communication and the material they share on our monthly and annual meetings are thorough and timely. The training is also getting better for instance on special handling cases.

Pros

Growing company - making a difference. Very fast paced. Leader in the industry. Wonderful CEO

Cons

Leadership is working hard to grow and become a stronger team but still has room to improve in communications. This is not a job if you only want to collect a paycheck; you have to bring your A-game no matter what job you are in!

Pros

The pay is above average and your schedule is flexible.

Cons

There is no guarantee you will get your scheduled hours so if you depend on your salary its not reliable. The worst part has been being treated like a servant and worse by clients and their families. Any and everything that possibly can be blamed on the nurse will be! Patients family members are allowed to cuss at you and throw things and you're expected to take it! There is no respect given as a nurse. Scheduling is a nightmare and when you get on a bad case it's made very difficult to get off of it. They promise bonuses but they are rarely actually paid.
