Great company to work for, will be even more-so once start-up growing pains are over.
Pros
Extremely passionate employees & management who really believe in the product, high degree of autonomy, generous PTO policy, great work/life balance most of the time, positive and welcoming culture, super transparent executive management (in a good way). Management is super encouraging of developing side projects and creative new ways of doing things that you believe will help drive the business forward. If you're someone who likes being autonomous and thinking outside-the-box, you'll really thrive here.
Cons
TLDR: There's a general lack of resources, otherwise there aren't many cons to be frank. Being a bootstrapped start-up growing as quickly as it is, you often find yourself wishing you had more internal expert access and tech stack resources. In addition, salary is pretty low compared to market, and some "nice-to-have" benefits are missing (no 401(k) match, no tuition reimbursement, etc). However, this is the life of a start-up employee; you know it going in, and management clearly shows it's a priority to ramp this side up in the long-term as the company scales.
