Pros

The company is very supportive. They have good benefits, decent PTO, ERG's and the managers are very helpful.

Cons

The calls can be nonstop and very difficult. Customers are upset over rates or that they cannot pay and you have to navigate difficult situations (ie death of named insured, inability to pay due to illness, rate increases when moving.) It can be very mentally draining. The PTO is used for both illness and vacation, so it can be used up rather quickly. Also use of PTO if you have power failure due to storms that aren't declared disasters. Can be hard if you are in a state/area with frequent storms.

Pros of company: flexible scheduling, decentish pay for the job (with gainshare), good benefits, feel secure in job, good leadership

Cons: Low amounts of PTO, rude customers
