It's a Scam

Pros

Good pay if you can manage to hit the goal, though the taxes are higher as it is considered bonus pay. Hybrid schedule

Cons

Management - untrained, manipulative. they choose favorites and it shows. Work-life-Balance - nonexistent. lots of unpaid overtime, since most overtime work is denied only after you've completed it The goals are too high, and the values are chosen at the whim of the C-suite rather than based on actual inventory or workload. Rather than fight for their department, upper management chooses to allow the agents to come close to hitting goal but still fail - this saves money as they get all the labor without having to pay the commission bonuses. If you're well liked, you're fed easy claims. If you're not well liked, they focus all your attention on you until you either quit or get fired for performance issues they create to convince HR it's not retaliatory.

Thank you for your feedback. We're disappointed to hear this is how you viewed your time with the company after several years in the role. While we don’t expect every experience to be perfect, claims like “it’s a scam” simply aren’t accurate. The compensation model is clear: bonuses are tied to performance goals, and when those goals are met, bonuses are paid. That’s a standard structure in many performance-based roles. As for taxes—bonuses are withheld at a flat rate under IRS rules, which can feel higher than regular paychecks, but they’re not actually taxed differently. It all balances out at tax time. On the topic of overtime—employees are expected to accurately submit the hours they work, and we follow all federal and state overtime regulations. If any employee believes overtime is being denied after it’s already been worked, that is a serious concern and must be escalated immediately to senior management and/or HR for review. That kind of practice is not tolerated. We strongly disagree with the suggestion that management intentionally manipulates outcomes to avoid paying bonuses. Goals are based on business metrics — not on arbitrary decisions. While no leadership team is perfect, we wholeheartedly disagree with the claim that management is "not redeemable". Our leaders work hard every day to support their teams and drive performance fairly. We do take concerns about fairness and workload seriously. If there are issues of favoritism or retaliation, those should be addressed through proper HR channels. We appreciate the time you spent with the company and wish you the best moving forward.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear you value the flexibility of working from home and the support provided through mileage reimbursement. We recognize that the nature of our work can sometimes extend beyond standard hours, especially when we strive to exceed client expectations. That said, we’re continually working to improve work-life balance by reviewing staffing levels, streamlining workflows, and encouraging open communication about workload concerns. Your feedback is important and helps us grow. Thank you!
