Pros

100% healthcare coverage at zero cost to employees & dependents Commission incentives

Cons

Highly political for promotions(they already have someone usually in mind for a open role) Weird training plan (when they have enough people employed to train) Very sales oriented (numbers is what matters most) 100% of the time it’s constant revolving door Forced coverage at different locations (they will make you go cover a different location and you can’t say no) Pay is ridiculously low for field employees for the work asked to be done. Abuse from tenants

Hello, and thank you for reaching out. Your note was tough to read. It stings to know that you have left and we have lost the opportunity to get things right. Prometheus is thoughtful in our training programs and has many Neighborhoods with a combined team approach, promoting a rich environment to explore many facets of our business. Our team consistently reviews our compensation strategies frequently and ensures the utmost competitiveness amongst our market based on each role and responsibility at Prometheus. We certainly hope, wherever you are now, that you feel fully supported.

Disappointing with diversity initiatives

Pros

I think the thought behind things is good, but the execution is lacking and it feels more like they're doing it to check the box.

Cons

I think it's more important than ever to have meaningful dialogue around diversity and inclusion, and to take actionable steps as an organization to be more open and anti-racist. Prometheus formed a Diversity and Inclusion team last year, and I was excited to see it. However, that excitement quickly dwindled when I saw the "work" this team was participating in. Instead of insightful workshops and conversations, this group sends out a less than inspired and meaningless email every heritage month with encouragement to watch diverse movies and read diverse books. Every time I get one of these emails, my stomach drops at just the complete lack of substance. Why even have a diversity team if their sole purpose is to send meaningless communications and call it a day? It's a waste of time. I feel like we could be doing so much more, and the lack of initiative just demonstrates diversity is not a priority for Prometheus. As a minority, it's deeply disappointing.

Thank you for holding up a mirror. There was nothing easy to read about the words you shared. The Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging Committee is still in its infancy stages. We came together just over a year ago and are still finding our footing and the best path forward to produce impactful work in this space here at Prometheus. The DIB Committee has also taken this time to learn and become educated in how to show up for fellow Prometheans. It is important to us that this group feels equipped to handle all topics in this arena. Aside from the painful reminder that we have much to do in bringing DIB to life for our Prometheans, your note also opens another point of discussion – communication. We need to make sure our Prometheans feel comfortable coming to DIB, Promethean Services, reporting managers, and sharing this type of feedback in real-time. We would love to have an open conversation with you about where we have missed the mark and how you would like to see us get it right. Knowing that this is the first time we have received feedback of this nature tells us not only do we need to tighten up the actions and impact of DIB, but our overall open line of communication needs to be made more apparent. If you are open to chatting with us, your time would be most appreciated. Please reach out to DIB or Promethean Services directly, and we would be happy to have you bend our ear. We want you to feel seen and heard as a Promethean, but most importantly, as a person.

Pros

-100% paid healthcare for families -good training program

Cons

-The “culture” is only felt if you are friends with the right people. -Pay is below average and renewal commission is nonexistent (especially considering the emphasis made to the company on how much revenue is lost if people move out.)

It is clear that you do not feel valued right now as a Promethean or frankly as a person. Our Neighborhood teams have been the backbone of our organization throughout COVID. We know that nothing has been normal or easy during these times. Yes, we absolutely encouraged taking a vacation to get out and stretch your legs as much as possible right now. There is also a whole crew of people advocating for our Neighborhood teams tirelessly behind the scenes to keep your sails full. Hang in there with us, and feel free to reach out to Promethean Services anytime.
