Pros

Propeller has a strong track record of hiring smart, dedicated, and motivated folks, which makes for a group of interesting colleagues that are a pleasure to be around. Leadership works hard to live up to the cultural values the firm espouses, promoting flexibility, support, and inclusiveness to help everyone feel valued and empowered to succeed. The client work is challenging and interesting, and each consultant can be as involved as they want (or don't want) to be with the inner workings of the firm. It's an exciting place to be as we all strive to grow Propeller in San Francisco.

Cons

None really. It's good to understand that the type of consulting work Propeller currently does is primarily execution and delivery-focused project work. Not a lot of C-level strategy consulting, which could be a con to some, though this area has potential to continue growing for the firm as we build relationships with existing clients.

Pros

From Day 1, Propeller leadership has shown extreme transparency both in operations and strategic positioning of the firm. Not a day goes by when I don't learn something new about the industry or a client industry from fellow consultants as well as members of the leadership team. The firm is very accommodating of employee led initiatives both inside and outside of the firm. Because most of the leadership has been with the firm since inception, they are not only aware of but responsive to consultant concerns while working with clients and work to positively mediate any issues while maintaining good relationships. There is a true sense of fiduciary responsibility to both consultants and clients which takes alot of time and effort to maintain but is also top of mind.

Cons

No downsides about the firm so far, just be sure you understand the consulting industry in general before you enter. If you believe it's right for you, you won't find a firm better than Propeller to work for or engage with as a client.

Pros

Propeller seems to be nailing it in San Francisco. So far Propeller has done a great job of finding high-profile, challenging projects at clients, and they're pulling together a capable, driven team that will allow the firm and individuals to be successful in any project. It's clear Propeller is also investing significant time in the hiring process, ensuring they have a team that will help lay a solid foundation for the office culture.

Cons

No real cons - there appears to be endless opportunity so far.
