Pros

The best part of Propeller, by far, is the people. As one of the founders once said, our product is our people - good work comes out of that naturally. We invest a lot in our recruiting and interviewing process, but we believe that at the end of the day, we get the best people. Unicorns. The founders and senior staff are all very supportive of employees in multiple ways - work-life balance, trust in us as professionals, high expectations matched by high support, the willingness to put people before dollars. It just makes you want to go fight to make sure the world knows how amazing Propeller is.

Cons

I believe that as we continue our exponential growth and start to grow and spread, it will be a challenge to keep that mentality and family spirit. As we start to get layers in the firm and people adjust to new levels of interaction and responsibility, there are growing pains - nothing we can't get through.

Pros

Propeller is a group of intelligent, experienced, genuine people with a knack for getting the job done. Management has put an emphasis on hiring the right type of people to ensure rapid growth that’s beneficial to the firm and its clients, and it’s definitely paid off. The firm has also built the type of culture that will retain talent, by being 100% transparent, building a fun atmosphere, and trusting the professionals they’ve hired. It’s very refreshing working for such a supportive organization, whether it’s establishing a work/life balance, supporting a difficult or puzzling situation at a client, or furthering your training/education, people (employees) are #1 at Propeller and the firm continuously demonstrates that fact.

Cons

I have no cons to call out at this point. Propeller is extremely supportive, and is exactly what I would look for in a consulting firm.

Pros

This company is doing things the right way. It all starts at the top with the leadership. The two owners invest a lot of time, resources and effort in developing their employees and making sure that we have the right tools and knowledge base to be successful. The benefits and work-life balance are great and everyone feels vested in the success of the firm. I'm getting a lot of value out of the work I'm doing and can honestly say that I love coming to work everyday.

Cons

The coffee in kitchen could be better. We're upstairs from a bakery and the office will sometimes smell like fresh chocolate chip cookies. Between this and the well-stocked snacks in the kitchen, I've put on a little weight since working here.
