Pros

CE Broker helps licensed professionals stay on top of their continuing education requirements, which may not sound like the sexiest thing ever, but it's actually a huge deal to many people and CE Broker goes above and beyond to help make things easy. They do right by their employees too, offering a laid back environment and a lot of cool benefits like delivering local organic produce to the office, 12 weeks paid paternity/maternity leave, and a wellness activity reimbursement program. That's way above and beyond most companies its size.

Cons

It's a growing company and has growing pains from time to time.

Pros

This was a great job for me at the time because I was working in that call center. It’s mostly inbound calls, which is great because the callers really need help. Not a whole lot of problems with angry or rude callers.

Cons

I gave it a one star review because I feel the call center workers like myself were grossly underpaid. Considering the highly specialized nature of the subject. Another con was the office itself.

Thanks for the feedback. We truly care about what you think and we’re committed to creating a comfortable, transparent and collaborative environment. I’m disappointed to hear about some of your experiences, so I wanted to address a couple of your specific concerns here. Like most organizations, employee compensation is our largest investment. We conduct market surveys annually for each job and its geographic area, purposefully aiming for a salary range above average for the market. Employees with exceptional performance may be evaluated at the beginning of each calendar year for an adjustment. Since we pay above average for all positions, performances that meet expectations will be kept about where they are, adjusted only based on changes in the market. You can reach the top of the compensation range by demonstrating commitment to our values and excelling in the work you do on a regular basis over a period of time. We believe most high performers will have the mobility needed to move to a different position before the compensation ceiling is reached. I’d like to be transparent and admit I’ve struggled with how to address your advice to management. As the sole member of HR, I must have said or done something at some point for you to feel uncomfortable about submitting public feedback. For that, I am truly sorry. Early on, I made a conscious decision not to solicit Glassdoor reviews from employees and I will stand by that decision. I would never want someone to feel coerced into posting insincere testimonials. I also think our readers would be able to tell if a review was not genuine, and since an employee can edit or delete their review at any time, I don’t think obligatory or unnatural reviews would benefit anyone. While I truly feel CE Broker is a great place to work, I understand it will not be the best fit for everyone. Thank you for your contribution and feedback.
