Pros

The work is challenging, good tech practices and new technologies

Cons

Your personal progress is the last concern of the company, they also lie to their employees with false expectations related with performance reviews. They will tell you "wait for this and that" and they we will say NO or you're fired. Salary is bad, at least for Colombia based people, underpaid in comparission with the market. Benefits are bad.

Pros

They use good technologies to develop web applications.

Cons

The original owners sold a large part, the new investors destroyed the culture and cut more than 60% of the workforce in two years. No clear objectives, wasted money on projects that did not contribute. Many meetings during the day.

I'm sorry to hear that this was your perspective. The retention statistic is inaccurate. We trust discerning readers to understand that former employees' frustration could be expressed through inaccurate reviews. To ease concerns from prospective employees, we welcome questions during the interview process. Objectives and key results are clearly communicated org-wide at the company, department, and individual levels via Lattice. I'm happy to report that, as a direct result of feedback via the employee-driven Insight & Action Group, the leadership team is participating in a "calendar cleanse" exercise to strengthen healthy meeting habits. The team embraces Propelus' core company value of "Commit to Continuous Improvement," and we are always learning and growing.

Pros

Nowadays no one, 3 years ago it was a really good company with an excellent culture.

Cons

The original owner sold a big part of the company to a new investor, so, after that... - No job stability. - They decided to dismiss more that 60% of the employees in the last 2 years, including people that have more that 10 years in the company with good performance. In that last "reset" they decided to not give the bonus that some employees had if they were fired. - Salaries are not good, they do not give pay rise easily for people in Colombia, in the best case you can get only a 3%. - For developers, only one person is in charge of deciding if a dev can get a pay rise or not, but this person don't have direct contact with devs and doesn't know what that person really did, he just makes decisions based on what he remember. - In the past, we could propose ideas about technologies but now we must do what 3 people think, no matter how that affects the service or product you manage.
