Pros

They have plenty of free parking, the grounds are immaculate and the building is clean. The food is inexpensive, but tastes bland, like nursing home food.

Cons

How much time do you have? While senior management are generally competent and pleasant, upper management are greedy, hypocritical, close-minded, penny wise and dollar foolish and they run the place like a fraternity (as a matter of fact, if you have a Masters from GA State, you're as good as hired.)

Pros

Pay is competitive. point of care system.

Cons

Poor infrastructure. All new requirements are given to PCC. Clinical consultant spends a handful of days at office & focus is on routine charting reviews. Consultant does not assist office with clinical medicare outcomes. Sr. mgmt micromanages & expects different results with out changing processes, strategy, or resources. We are on the front line, yet the housekeeper at corp gets better benefits than office leaders. No new hire or position specific Horizon training. Constant crisis management due to staffing model. All office staff are doing daily work loads as if we are in a mode of several partners on PTO. Constant demoralizing billing emails.

Pros

-Great co-workers -Lovable residents -nothing else really.

Cons

-No training what so ever even if you're a new nurse fresh out of school. just a 1-2 day light walk-through. -Nurses are just being hired to push drugs. -poor sliding payscale based on experience. A new Nurse or CNA with no experience can make more than someone who has 3+ experience. -Management has called out workers in front of others and familys. -Poor food quality -Can't get adequate supplies. -Management always threaten to fire you about something even if you have never been trained on something. -Just too cheap Neil!
