Very cold, impersonal place. The building on Boy Scout Road is sparkling new but it did not have cubicles, just lots of work benches. You "hoteled" meaning that you brought your company laptop and you found yourself a spot on a bench each day. Sometimes you would find another group had taken over your usual spot and you moved somewhere else. Aside from my manager and the other contractor that he hired on the same day, I was pretty much working among strangers. That appeared to be true of the other strangers working on the same bench with me. We pretty much worked in silence unless I tried to strike up a conversation. I never figured out what the group that hired me was called or how it fit into the organization. I can't imagine this is true for everyone who works there or even contracts there. My contract was terminated when PwC reassessed their contracting companies and decided that the one I was working through no longer qualified. Apparently, this reassessment process is a periodic thing. I wasn't sorry to leave even despite the pros e
