Pros

Prestige value of having made it there as well as gaining an understanding of the corporate culture. Also, they recruit some of the most capable people around so it is a great place make friends.

Cons

The work are really, really long. Therefore you have to forsake your personal life and it is incredibly taxing when it comes to your health.

Pros

Has some infrastructure that gets them through. If you like being a number then go for it.

Cons

Mens' club that (although they don't think it does) it permeates right down through the levels. Hard to change due to pompousness. Says the talk but flaky in walking the talk, can't be trusted to be sincere. Internally boys club who are self perpetuating. Their culture is old & boring. They are a tiring company that tries to keep an image in line with what an image should keep. Yawn!

Pros

1. Benefits 2. Name recognition 3. Salary

Cons

1. If you are not working on the client side, you are nothing. You have no opportunities for professional growth. 2. Rating system is biased and completely unreliable 3. Senior management treats staff like indentured servants 4. Do not expect any appreciation for your work 5. Personality clashes with management. If you do not kiss some major butt, you are forever out of the loop. 6. Blatant favoritism between managers and certain employees 7. HR is not your friend, in fact, they are your enemy 8. Ridiculous layoffs that went on in 2010 and basically turned out to be a big FAIL on the part of leadership 9. It is all about who likes whom. Some of the laziest coworkers advanced because they were brown nosers.
