Pros

Good opportunities to learn technical and project management skills

Cons

Poor work life balance, what you are evaluated against seems to constantly change, expect everyone to have same strengths (sales) without an appreciation that others have different skills but also bring value to the organization

Pros

The people who work at PwC are incredibly intelligent and highly motivated. It's a fast paced environment with a steep learning curve. Opportunities abound to tailor your career and knowledge base to your own liking, if you have some initiative. Pay at manager level and above is higher than HR consulting firms.

Cons

Poor exam support. Billable hours target is set by accountants and thus hard to meet while still studying for exams. Formal training for entry level actuaries is unorganized and inadequate. Informal training that you get day to day is much better, however.
