PwC in China is not as valuable as I expected.

Pros

You will be able to meet many big Chinese companies and have opportunities to further develop your career with them after you become a PwC manager or the last year senior staff of PwC.

Cons

It's hard to work in a team as people normally only care about their own development. As a newcomer, you may have to sit in the office 8 hours a day without knowing what your assignment is and to whom you should report. Those senior staff usually like to call you 30 minutes before 5PM to have you work for them as they expect that they cannot finish the assignment by themselves before 5:30PM, when they are supposed to leave for home. You may have to work overtime as you are told that the assignment is "urgent." However, at the end you cannot fill in the timesheet and report your "overtime" hours as you are idle whole day from 8:30am till 5PM. I experienced many times when I was in PwC China. I wouldn't work for any of the Big Four in China forever. PwC is the best accounting firm in China, and you can imagine how terrible the rest of firms are.
