      Great opportunities but you need to be zealous in managing your career and be aware of the politics

      Global job and project opportunities; transferring fairly easy between groups and locations; diversity of projects; intelligent and ambitious colleagues to learn from

      Cons

      Partnership structure means that you have to be attuned to politics in the office and ensuring you have a good relationship with your partner; feedback process is disjointed between upward and downward feedback; large variances between groups in terms of how they manage people and projects (so you run the risk of good groups and bad groups)

      - Great experience - Friendly coworkers - Pay is decent compared to other big 4 firms - Very technologically adept; new technologies quickly implemented

      Cons

      - Lots of overtime - Difficult to attain promotions in poor economic climate - Lack of employee attrition means that promotion is even more difficult now

      Opportunity to get varied experience and meet very talented people. Good name for the CV. Can work on big and interesting assignments. Great network, and ability to work across the PwC firm.

      Management rely on the fact that it's PwC and the work to incentivise staff rather than money or priase or any other softer skills. Management take limited responsibility for staff development or happiness3
